DX Coils

DX Coils

Features & Applications

DX coil is a type of evaporator used in air conditioning and refrigeration systems, in which the refrigerant flows directly through the coil. This coil functions as a heat exchanger within the refrigeration cycle.

During the cooling process; liquid refrigerant coming out from the expansion valve enters the DX coil serpentine tubes. While evaporation occurs inside the coil, heat is absorbed from the surroundings and the environment is cooled. The refrigerant, which turns into gas state, is then sent to the compressor in the system.

With high energy efficiency, fast response time and compact structure, DX coils are widely used in air handling units, fan coil systems and various commercial-industrial refrigeration applications.
